Seawinds is looking forward to welcoming Merse back in 2026! Don't miss out on this unique training opportunity to train with Master Level Horse Archer and International Instructor from the Kassai School in Hungary, Merse Konkoly of the Kassai Horse Archery School in Hungary.
In the past we had brought Merse in for a spring training session to start our season off, this year we have decided to have him come in peak season to give the best opportunity to elevate your skills! We also have decided to incorporate two competition days in this camp.

If not paying in full, a deposit is due at the time of registration to hold your spot for this camp. Deposits are sent via e-transfer to lance@wildmounatin.ca and are non-refundable. ($250 of the paid in full amount will be considered a non-refundable deposit)

Siem Budding will be teaching the ground archery training on the mornings of the training days. All OKS track training will be led by WFEA International Judge Lance Bishop.
There will be limited opportunity for private archery instruction with Siem available during this camp. See further detail on the registration form. $150 per 1-hour private session (ground only-un-mounted)

Prices include the shared use of one of our Seawinds archery horses.
Participants travelling from outside Nova Scotia may request airport pickup and drop-off from Halifax International Airport (YHZ) on a cost-sharing basis.
Accommodation options are listed on the registration form.
Food is not provided, but participants have access to our outdoor kitchen area, which includes dishes, potable hot and cold water, a barbecue, and coolers.
Registration fee is due at the time of registration in order for the registration to be valid.
The competition training camps include training days and finish up with WFEA competitions.
To compete in a WFEA sanctioned competition, it is required that you are registered in the World Federation of Equestrian Archery system.
The registration is a one time fee of $160 CAD which is sent to the WFEA to register you in the system, after you have been registered once you will not have to do this again.
To qualify to be registered in the system This applies to first time OKS competitors. You must first pass either 1. A starters license examination for 30 points (WFEA Competition Starters License Examination Fee if done during camp $160 CAD.) or 2. a belt-grading examination for 30 points, and then register for a Competition Starters License with the World Federation of Equestrian Archery.( $40 CAD Belt grading fee and $160 CAD. WFEA Registration fee, $200 CAD total) These examinations will be conducted as required during the camp.

If you have previously achieved 30 points in an OKS competition you do not have to pass an exam, but it is required that you are registered in the WFEA Ranking System and pay the registration fee of $160 CAD
Competition space will go first to those attending the training camp and any space left will be open to club members not attending to participate. Please let us know if you are interested in competing and you do not plan to attend the training camp so that we can assemble a wait list.
